What is Reiki?

The word "Reiki" is derived from two Japanese words: Rei (universal) and Ki (life force energy), meaning "universal life force energy." Reiki practitioners use their hands to channel this energy into the recipient's body, encouraging the body to heal itself. The practice is non-invasive, and no physical manipulation is involved. How Reiki Works

During a Reiki session, the practitioner lightly places their hands on or near specific areas of the body, such as the head, shoulders, or stomach.
